MOND FAQs

We understand that as a patient or dentist, you will be looking for specific information so that you can make an informed decision about your oral health or your collaboration with MOND. That's why we have created a comprehensive resource of frequently asked questions to provide you with clear, accurate and accessible information. Our aim with this is to promote transparency and understanding, so we can support you on every step of your MOND journey.

Put us to the test

For patients

Your electronic identity card, a list of medications you are taking, your bank card, and the contact information of your general practitioner.

If you forget your electronic ID, you may present another form of identification such as a passport or driver's license. However, please remember to bring your ID to your next appointment, as we scan the card each time to automatically update all your details in our dental system. For reimbursement from the mutual insurance, we require your national registry number, which you should provide as soon as possible after your appointment. For children who do not yet have electronic identity cards, a health insurance fund sticker is sufficient.

For safety and efficiency, we recommend paying with Bancontact. Cash payments are possible in most MOND practices up to the legal maximum of €3000 per treatment. Payment by bank transfer is only possible with the practice's approval. Additionally, some practices also accept credit card payments. Please contact the practice if you have specific requests.

Your RIZIV (National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance) certificate will be digitally forwarded to your health insurance fund by the practice, which will then transfer the reimbursement to your bank account within 48 hours. In exceptional cases, your RIZIV certificate may be printed on paper, and you are responsible for submitting it to your health insurance fund.

You can find all our practices on our website. Each practice has its own procedures, but generally, you can schedule an appointment by phone, email, or WhatsApp. Each practice conducts an intake interview for new patients unless there is a patient stop. Visit the practice page for more information.

This depends on the practice. Some practices have implemented a patient stop to maintain quality care due to the large number of patients. However, you can join the waiting list on the practice page, and we will contact you when a spot becomes available.

Practices that still accept new patients conduct an intake interview first. During this interview, an assessment of the patient's dental condition is made to schedule the appropriate amount of time for future check-ups and treatments.

Please contact the practice as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp. If you cancel your appointment at least 48 hours in advance, no additional charges will be incurred.

Contact your practice by phone or WhatsApp. On weekends or holidays, you can call the emergency service at 09 033 99 69. They are available from 09:00 to 18:00 and will assist you.

All our practices are wheelchair accessible.

If you have anxiety, please inform us when making an appointment so we can take extra care. We prioritize making time for you and will take the time to calmly explain what is happening and how we will address your dental issues. For complicated treatments, some practices also offer nitrous oxide sedation and anesthesia.
